Refund Policy

When an applicant/client accepts a place offered by Respond First Aid Pty Ltd, it means a binding contract is created between the student/client and Respond First Aid Pty Ltd. Notification of cancellation/withdrawal from unit/s of competency, withdrawal or deferral from a course must be made in writing to Respond First Aid Pty Ltd.

In the case of cancellation/withdrawal, the following cancellation fees will apply:

​

  • If a course or participant is to be cancelled or removed it must be done so with 72hrs notice of the course commencing, failure to give sufficient notice will result in an administration fee of between 50%-100% of the total price (at Respond First Aid's Discretion, based on the circumstances behind the cancellation) 

​

  • When a student is completing online Learning/ Hybrid style training where online work is completed as part of the assessment process, the issuing of the enrolment or access to online material is considered the day of the course and hence the admin fee as aforementioned will be withheld for cancellations after this point.

​

  • All payments are to be made in full, no later than 14 days after the course being delivered, late fees may apply after this.

​

  •  We reserve the right at all times to cancel, change or re-schedule a course. A mutually suitable date will be decided, if no suitable date can be found within reason (from the original course date) a full refund will be provided to the client/ student. 

​

  • Where refunds are approved, the refund payment must be paid to the student/client within 14 days from the time the student/client gave written notice to cancel their enrolment (administration fees may still apply for the processing of refunds)

There is no charge for a student to transfer to another course run by Respond First Aid Pty Ltd, so long as it is the equivalent course, there is no conflicts with the exisiting students/client and there is capacity remaining, this is at the discretion of Respond First Aid Pty Ltd.

If Respond First Aid Pty Ltd is unable to reasonably fulfill its service agreement with a student/client, Respond First Aid Pty Ltd will provide a refund the student’s/ clients proportion of fees paid for goods or services not delivered.

Respond First Aid - Store Products

Respond First Aid will issue a complete exchange or refund on damaged or faulty products. Refunds for change of mind purchases are not accepted. Respond First Aid believes in promoting and upholding the rights of consumers and encourage customers to understand their rights and responsibilities under Australian Consumer Law (https://consumer.gov.au/).
